Rockland Community College (RCC) recently announced a new partnership with SUNY Cobleskill to offer a Bachelor of Technology degree. Students living in Nanuet can easily commute to RCC to take advantage of this new offering.
Both adult learners who are currently working, and traditional students can take advantage of the SUNY Cobleskill Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology. Upon completion of courses taken at RCC, these credits are then transferable into the completion of the degree. Courses at RCC are offered both online and on campus, and courses at SUNY Cobleskill meet in condensed eight-week blocks and are small in size.
Upon completion of the degree, students are qualified to work at technology organizations looking for candidates with a background in both business principles and up-to-date information technology skills. Areas in which these students can work will include technical support, law enforcement, information security, and network administration.
Those with an associate’s degree in cyber security are ideal candidates for this new degree and need to have a GPA of at least 2.25. Students interested in the new degree must complete all the prerequisite courses at RCC before they can attend SUNY Cobleskill.
Schools such as Rockland Community College might consider using brochure printing companies to create Brochures about such new programs as a way to attract more students to the college.
