The Fundamentals of 3D Design is once again being offered by Rockland Community College (RCC) as an enrichment course for teenagers and children.
As the course will take place at the RCC Haverstraw Extension Center in West Broad Street, residents of Nanuet will surely be interested in signing up their children for this course.
The program is designed to introduce elementary and middle school pupils to three-dimensional printing and computer-aided design. The instructor is Mallikharjun Marrey, who is the 3D SMARTT Lab Coordinator for the State University of New York at Rockland. He makes the course highly interactive and relates the projects carried out in class to the real world and their connections.

The cost of the course is $100 with grades three through five meeting from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and grades six through eight meeting from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. The course runs through the month of February with all classes ending on Friday February 26.
RCC offers associate degrees and certificates, as well as courses, for those ranging from pre-schoolers to senior citizens.
