Pace University and Rockland Community College (RCC) in Suffern have partnered on a dual admissions process for students that will enable students who graduate from RCC to attend Pace in their junior year. Students and residents of Nanuet will be most interested in such an agreement.
Graduates of RCC with an Associate of Science or an Associate of Arts degree in certain programs will be guaranteed admission into Pace. Their lower level core and general education courses will be accepted for credit at Pace. Pace is also planning to offer scholarships of up to $25,000 to students who graduate with a designated grade point average. Students can attend classes on the Pleasantville campus in Westchester or on the New York City campus.
Brochure printing is often used to provide more information about such programs and the admissions and applications processes.
Marvin Krislov, president of Pace, expressed his excitement about collaborating with RCC on this agreement. He said that students from RCC will now have more opportunities in today’s world and be able to complete a four-year degree. Krislov added that Pace has over 150 majors and programs from which students can choose and over 100 student organizations and clubs as well as a choice of campuses.
President of RCC, Dr. Michael A. Baston, called this agreement a special moment for the two colleges.
