Smashburger to respond to WCFR needs
Located in the Cleats ‘n Sneaks Shopping Center in Nanuet, Smashburger will be holding a special fundraising event for the Worldwide Community of First Responders (WCFR) of Rockland County next week.
An online announcement gave details of this special activity, and organizers will no doubt be considering a flyer printing order to spread the word further
During the day, a portion of the sales will be donated to the charity as long as it is mentioned during the ordering process. The hours of the restaurant on that day are from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm.
The mission of Worldwide Community First Responder (WFCR) is to prevent deaths around the world by means of training and education. Its health education program focuses on teaching members of the community regarding fatal health conditions and measures of prevention, while the training program provides first aid and first response training around the world.
As a non-profit organization, the WCFR makes its services available to everyone around the world regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ability, religion, and economic or social status. It is made of a group of volunteers and its services are provided at no charge.
