Hudson Valley Restaurant Week will be coming to the Nanuet area this spring. There will be over 140 restaurants who will take part in the celebration of the culinary scene, including 15 that are close to Nanuet.
During these two weeks, there will be special three-course Menus ranging from $24.95 to $44.95. The menus will be prix fixe with at least three choices for each course. There may be some restaurants that will offer additional choices but at a higher price. Tax, tips, and beverages are not included in the price.
Restaurants will list daily what they will be offering for lunch and dinner. Local Print shops can play a role in such special weeks by printing menus and Flyers highlighting menu choices and specialties of the house.
Reservations are strongly encouraged and may be required by some restaurants. Many of the participating restaurants will also be offering their cuisine for take-out for those who may be pressed for time.
Among the sponsors of Restaurant Week are Visit Westchester County NY, Rockland County Tourism, Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association, and K104.7. Restaurant Week was started by Valley Table magazine in 2006 and is known as the “granddaddy” of Restaurant Weeks. Over the past two years, many cities and towns in the region have hosted their own, typically during the winter months.
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week will take place from Monday, March 20 through Sunday, April 2.
