New restaurant concept to open in Nanuet

A fast-casual restaurant, B.GOOD, is scheduled to open by the end of the month in Nanuet. The restaurant specializes in sustainable salads, burgers, and bowls.

A spokesperson for the company, Carly Connor, said that the ethics of B.GOOD is to use local food partnerships and cook dishes from sustainable sources that are appropriate for the season. As a result, its offerings include a menu that is balanced and healthy, focusing on sandwiches, salads, shakes, and smoothies.

Options on the winter menu include a Harvest Kale Salad, which is made from Brussels sprouts, marinated kale, acorn squash, and beets, along with other seasonal items, with a sherry vinaigrette dressing. Another item available is an antibiotic-free burger with sriracha, avocado, and a spicy homemade slaw. Diners can also order bowls with zucchini noodles and meatballs made with eggplant, with topping choices of green beans, heirloom tomatoes, kale, and parmesan, among others.

Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida are some of the sources of the seasonal ingredients as well as other areas in the Northeast.

B.GOOD has an anticipated opening date of January 18. It will open every day at 11:00 am, closing at 8:00 pm on Sunday, and at 9:00 pm the rest of the week.
