The Chick-fil-A chain of restaurants, known for its chicken tenders and sandwiches, is planning another location in the Hudson Valley in Nanuet.
Two other locations are currently under construction. One is in Greenburgh on Tarrytown Road. The other is in Yonkers at the intersection of Route 100 and Roxbury Drive.
George Hoehmann, Town Supervisor of Clarkstown, said that the plans in Nanuet are going through the approval process with the planning board. The final approval is expected to take place sometime within the next three months in early spring.
The new eatery will be on Route 59 in Nanuet. It will have a lot of seating outdoors and two drive-thru lanes.
Hoehmann said that Clarkstown and Nanuet have been working for the past three years on bringing this eatery to the area. He said the area is underserved so this will be an ideal asset for the area. He added that the area is expanding with a drive-through Starbucks and a renovated White Castle also in the works.
When several new eating establishments come to an area, such establishments may want to promote themselves to residents and visitors to the area. High-quality flyer printing and other printing services can be used for such purposes.
Once construction begins, Chick-fil-A expects the location to open in mid- to late 2024.
