The town of Nanuet is finalizing plans for its debut Street Fair, which will be hosted by the Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce.
It is the first event of this nature to be held in the area. Admission will be free, and the fair is expected to be suitable for the whole family.
The upcoming event will be taking place from the Stop & Shop entrance on Main Street down towards Prospect Street. The fair has attracted a great number of businesses, with more than 150 vendors expected to attend and participate. The event has five Gold sponsors, including Stop & Shop, Fairway Market, Condon & Associates, Morgan Stanley, and Mercedes Benz, as well as a number of other brands.
Preparations for the event have included flyer printing as well as Promotional Products being created and distributed, including T-Shirts which can be bought in advance. To complement the vendors, the fair will be offering food and entertainment all day, including rides and live performances.
The fun will be started with by Troop 33 of the Nanuet Boy Scouts, who will be giving a flag ceremony. There will also be a DJ playing live all day, as well as dance performances and other musical talent.
