Wallauer Paint and Decorating Centers, based in Nanuet, is celebrating its centennial of operation. The family-owned business provides design services and hardware and paint to those in the Hudson Valley.
As part of the celebrations, each month the company is offering an opportunity to win a Wallauer Makeover Design Project worth $1,000 and is giving away a gift card worth $100 to one customer. The company has also created a program specifically for realtors of discounted gift cards that they can give as gifts to homeowners when they close on their new homes or sometime thereafter. The cards can also be given or sent out in colorful Packaging. Such packages often use the Logo Design of a company to help promote its brand.
Among the products offered by Wallauer are low-odor paints, exterior and interior stains and paints from Benjamin Moore. It is the largest of the retailers of Benjamin Moore products in Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester counties. Wallauer also offers its own brand of paint with more than 5,000 colors from which to choose and enables the customer to create their own custom colors. The company also offers products from Ace Hardware. There are stores in Yonkers, Mohegan Lake, Port Chester, and Scarsdale, among others.
The drawing for the Makeover Design Project will be held on Wednesday September 1.
