The New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) will be honoring four future business leaders next month with Rising Star Awards.
This award is given to those who are from universities in New Jersey and have differentiated themselves through their involvement in the community, leadership, and academic work.
Michele Siekerka, President and CEO of NJBIA, said that during their undergraduate careers these students showed they had a goal of academic success, were passionate about their chosen career, and were committed to volunteering in the community. She added that there were so many outstanding applicants that the organization decided to double the number of awards given out as all four students deserved to be recognized.
One of the ones to receive this award is Brianna Roberts from Nanuet. One way to announce accomplishments such as this one is through poster printing.
This past May, Roberts received a Bachelor of Arts in music and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Monmouth University. Her goal is to be an executive in the music industry. During her undergraduate years, she participated in many professional conference and internships and was marketing and social media manager for the student-run record label and fundraising chair and chair and vice president of philanthropy for her business fraternity.
The awards will be given out at the fifth Annual Women Business Leaders Forum on September 20 in Long Branch at the Ocean Place Resort.
