Community college offers special dinners

A collaboration between the Flik Hospitality Group and the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Center of Rockland Community College (RCC) is making possible a take-out dinner for residents of the county.

Hudson Market on Main is offering a dinner for a family of four at a price of $25. The dinner includes an entrée choice of pulled pork or brisket, breaded eggplant with marinara, breaded chicken cutlet, or grilled chicken breast; a choice of side dishes that include roasted potatoes, macaroni and cheese, potato salad or yellow rice; and mixed or grilled vegetables. Cookies baked in-house, three for $2.00, and a small salad at a price of $5.00 can be added to the dinner. Those in Nanuet will want to take advantage of this special offering.

Print shops can be hired to provide more details about ordering such dinners and pick-up and delivery services.

The Market also has daily specials at the same price. Among the specials are chicken parmesan, Rueben sandwiches, and brisket. It is also offering Blue Marble Organic soft-serve ice cream, which is made in Brooklyn. The Market will also be opening soon a smoothie and freshly squeezed juice bar.

Hudson Market on Main enables students from RCC to be ready to join the workforce upon graduation and supports the objectives of the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Center to strengthen agritourism and agriculture in the Hudson Valley.
