Car club to provide motor vehicle services in Nanuet
AAA Northeast has partnered with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to expand DMV services at six branch offices in the state. One of these is the Nanuet office which is in the Rockland Plaza.
Members of the AAA will now have access to DMV transactions including vehicle registration duplicates and renewals, renewals of non-driver ID and driver licenses, and upgrades to Enhanced ID or REAL ID. The addition of such services to an existing location often requires flyer printing so that members can be made aware of such services.
Governor Andrew Cuomo said that this partnership will provide another pathway to the DMV for those living in the mid-Hudson region and Long Island and New York City where the other expanded services are being offered. He added that it will facilitate access to essential services and is an example of how partnerships between private and public entities can benefit those residing in New York State.
Mark. Schroeder, Commissioner of the DMV, said that AAA and the DMV are both focused on providing exceptional service to residents of the state. He added that the DMV is thrilled to be partnering with AAA to provide another convenient option for their motor vehicle transactions.
Hours of these services will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on an appointment basis.
