Street fair and sidewalk sale will attract shoppers

The annual ‘Sale under the Sun’ sidewalk sale is taking place next month in Locust Valley.

This event, which is organised by the Locust Valley Chamber of Commerce, takes place on the first Saturday in August each year. The sale is a great opportunity for stores to showcase all that they have to offer, attracting residents from Locust Valley and nearby communities to the downtown area and to discover what the hamlet has to offer in terms of shopping. To ensure this, organizers will probably invest in flyer printing services in nearby townships such as Glen Cove to spread the word.

One big part of this event is the ‘Locust Valley Street Fair’. This will feature arts and crafts vendors selling a variety of handmade items, such as jewelry, clothing, paintings, and pottery. There will also be craft demonstrations, entertainment, children's activities, and food for sale.

Vendor booths are available for $125 for a 10 x 10 artisan space, $275 for a food truck, and $300 for business space.
