The Glen Cove Public Library serves as a hub for the community, and it has reached out to local residents inviting them to attend its Open House.
Friends of the Glen Cove Public Library will be offering a free event to its patrons, and it is also open to those who have never visited the venue before. It will provide a sneak peek into upcoming events, and there will be meet-and-greets and other activities.
The celebration will kick off with live music supplied by Larry Martone and Friends, which will be followed by crafting as well as some trick-or-treating. The trivia challenge will give knowledge buffs a time to put it to the test and it will focus on the library and local history. Library tours, membership drives, a photography display, and a meet-and-greet with author Nona Footz are all in the works. There will be signed Books available for purchase at the gathering.
An open house gives the public a time to learn about the day-to-day operations of a venue, and they can be hosted by not-for-profit organizations and businesses alike. Budget-friendly decor, registration Forms, promotional Pens, bookmarks, and other swag can be prepared for an activity by a Print shop.
Glen Cove Library is set to open its doors to the world on Wednesday, October 28. Visitors can arrive starting at 4:00 pm.
