Valentine’s Day celebrates love, and whether they have recently been “hitched” or are “long-hauers”, a Glen Cove event will be a time for its married couples to celebrate their connection.
The Main Chambers at Glen Cove City Hall will be the setting for a special event officiated by the community's Mayor. It will include a vow renewal ceremony, and spots must be reserved ahead of time.
The couples that participate will be invited to be part of a romantic vow renewal ceremony, and it's been scheduled for the morning hours. There's no fee being charged to take part, and after they have renewed their connection, everyone will be treated to tea and coffee as well as cookies while they mix, mingle and celebrate. RSVPs for the activity must be made before February 11th, and everyone interested is advised to sign up quickly.
As a memento of the experience, the couples will all receive a keepsake certificate, which they may choose frame and display. Stationery printers can work with event organizers, offering custom graphic design work and other services at a variety of price points.
