A free presentation that may be of interest to Glen Cove family caregivers and seniors alike has been scheduled, and it is also open to residents of its surrounding communities.
The Glen Cove Office of Senior Services will be running a presentation in its City Hall that will cover the options open to older adults, and introduce the resources that may be helpful to them. The session will take place in the evening and will run for one hour.
The session will include remarks from a variety of subject matter experts, including the community's mayor and representatives from Glen Cove Hospital. Residences geared towards older adults such as The Regency Senior Living have also been invited to participate. The audience may ask questions, and the goal is for everyone to walk away better able to make planning decisions that meet their individual needs.
Information sessions, workshops, and other learning events may benefit from the services available at a local leaflet or brochure printing company. It can craft informational materials that expand on what was covered, as well as supply any additional details that were not discussed.
Glen Cove City Hall will host the Community Caregiver Presentation on Thursday, June 11. It will run from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm that evening, and no advance registration is needed to attend.
