Glen Cove takes pride in its streets, parks, and other public spaces, and its Beautification Commission will be hosting a spring soiree to help raise both and awareness.
The group’s Garden Party has set the date for its annual Garden Party and tickets for the special celebration are $95 each. It will show off the talents of the local food service community while at the same time providing opportunities for connection.
Those who purchase a ticket for the affair will be treated to a selection of small plate dishes, and there will be wine, beer and other drinks on the menu as well. The sweet tooths in the crowd can enjoy dessert while they sip on a post dinner coffee, and cocktails will be available at the cash bar. While they enjoy the food and drinks, there will be opportunities for conversation and connection.
To add an extra dash of excitement to the evening, a basket raffle draw will be on the agenda. Local businesses that would like to get involved by donating Corporate Gifts or serving as a sponsor can find more details on the event’s flyer listing.
Thursday, May 14 will see Glen Cove come together to help keep the community beautiful. The Metropolitan will supply space for the occasion, and it will kick off at 6:00 pm.
