Registration system open for Glen Cove kids workshops

Glen Cove kids are about to get crafty this summer if they take part in a series of workshops that will be held in the community.

The campers who register for the Kids Summer Art Workshops scheduled for Clay Nation will be enjoying four mornings a week of crafty fun and making new friends. They will work with a variety of media, and each of the sessions will have its own theme.

The camps, which will begin at the end of June, will see kids work with glass, wood, ceramics, and other materials, and full supervision and instruction will be provided. They will be able to explore their creative side and also learn about different subjects, and these events are intended for youngsters ages six and up. Parents are asked to send along a snack each day, and the activities will largely take place outdoors.

Summer camps give kids time to have fun while their parents know they are well supervised. A brochure printing company will be able to prepare packets of information to send out to each family that makes an inquiry

The first Clay Nations summer art workshop is scheduled for the week of June 27, and its theme is “of the places you’ll go.” The registration fee is $250 for one week, and more details are available here.
