Masquerade set to raise funds for two local charities

The 2nd annual Valentine's Masquerade Ball is taking place this February in Nassau County.

The ball is a fundraising event for the Have a Heart Children's Cancer Society and the MaryJayne Casillo Foundation for Cancer Research and Awareness.

Guests who attend will enjoy hors d'oeuvres passed around by a butler, an open bar, and a buffet dinner. As the evening goes on, there will be live music and dancing.

Guests can take part in a raffle featuring prizes donated by local businesses and individuals, as well as shop at vendor boutiques for both men and women.

The Have a Heart Children's Cancer Society has two offices in New York State and is a nonprofit organization that provides financial help for families of children going through treatments for cancer. It helps with bills, travel expenses and any other monetary needs.

To spread word of this event to many communities in the area, including to nearby Glen Cove, organizers may invest in flyer printing services from local companies. These Flyers can then be distributed in a variety of ways.
