Old Westbury Gardens is holding several events over the holiday season for guests of all ages.
The celebrations will start off with the Winter Dinner Party, which is a benefit for Old Westbury Gardens preservation projects.
After that, the holidays will get into full gear with the First Night and Tree Lighting celebration to be held at the Westbury House. There will be live holiday music from the Bethel Concert Choir and light refreshments served.
From this day on, the facility will feature decorated period rooms, cookies and cider to enjoy, an appearance from Santa Claus, and children's holiday crafts. Other events include the Long Island Flute Club Holiday Concert.
Guests from all over the area, including nearby Glen Cove, will no doubt be drawn to at least one of these events. Organizers may have invested in brochure or flyer printing services to help spread the word.
Old Westbury Garden's holiday celebrations will take place from December 6 to 7, 12 to 14 and 19 to 21. The First Night and Tree Lighting is being held on December 6 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 3 and 12. General admission to Old Westbury Gardens is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and children from 3 to 17 years of age.
