The Glen Cove Public Library serves as a community hub, and a local event will soon be showing some love to this institution, as well as the staff and volunteers who support it.
The Friends of the Glen Cove Public Library have scheduled a fundraising event filled with music and other entertainment. Many of the performers will hail from Long Island, and the schedule for the afternoon and early evening runs for four hours.
The function will kick off with music by Sebastian Rocker, and after this, Michael Anthony Renga will take to the stage. Downtown Sounds Teen Idol’s Teen Singers have a musical selection in store, and their performance will be followed by an author meet-and-greet, as well as a book signing.
Authors on hand for the event are Roni Jenkins and Cheryl Benton, who have penned “Martini Wisdom” as well as its sequel. Copies of the book will be on offer for purchase. A brochure printing company can also prepare small Promotional Products such as bookmarks to hand out during a special activity.
The organizers have made plans to offer this entertaining fundraiser at the library on Thursday October 19. The fun will be getting started at 4:00 pm, and the author meet-and-greet and book signing will begin at 5:45 pm. There is no charge to attend the event.
