Glen Cove families who would like to treat mom to a special experience this May are invited to bring her to an area venue full of springtime blossoms.
Old Westbury Gardens has issued VIP Invitations to area moms to attend its special Mother’s Day event. It will run throughout the day, and all ages may enjoy the visit.
The activity, which will show mothers, grandmothers, and other important women how much they matter, will boast a variety of seasonal flowers. Many of the garden’s flowering bulbs will be blooming, and there will also be flowering lilacs and dogwoods to enjoy. Each guest who is age 18 and up will go home with a free lavender plant to add to their own bed or container garden, and a tour of the house and planting activities have been scheduled.
