Glen Cove police firefighters, EMTs and other first responders will be welcoming the public for an evening that will promote community unity.
These local heroes, along with community leaders, will serve as the hosts for the local National Night Out party, which will take place in early August. It's been scheduled for Bridge Street in Glen Cove’s downtown core, and there's lots on the agenda to enjoy.
The two and a half hours of fun will also provide the chance to learn about local level programming for individuals and families, and tours of the Glen Cove Police Department are in the works. There will be a TASER demonstration as well as the opportunity to fill out a child ID kit, and refreshments will be served to the crowd, Music will make the function feel even more festive, and all ages are encouraged to drop by.
Many cities, towns and villages across the USA hold National Night Out events. A flyer printing company can lend a helping hand when it comes to spreading the word about activities to the public.
The Glen Cove installment of National Night Out will take place on August 6th from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm, and it is being presented courtesy of the city’s Police Department. Anyone with questions about the function has been asked to contact 516-676-2004.
