Domesticated rabbits can make good companion animals, and a Glen Cove area organization that offers bunnies a second chance has scheduled its first adoption event for its home community.
The team at All About Rabbits Rescue will be welcoming the public for an activity that may help them find a new furry friend. The organization has taken in both surrendered and abandoned bunnies from NYC and all across Long Island, and it is hoping its adoption event will attract a lot of attention.
The activity will be held at Gatto Pups and Friends, which is located in Glen Head. Everyone who drops by can meet and cuddle with the rabbits on hand, and they can also learn more about the adoption process and whether or not a bunny would be a good fit for their family. The event will run for three hours.
Animal rescue and rehoming groups help to fill holes in the social stay net of their home community. A brochure printing company can prepare everything from adoption information packages to marketing materials for a public event like this.
All About Rabbits Rescue is set to help its charges find loving forever homes with its adoption meet and greet next Saturday, March 22. It will start at 12:00 pm at 723 Glen Cove Avenue in Glen Head.
