Glen Cove Public Library sets date for open house

The Glen Cove Public library serves as a community hub, and a special event it has planned will be filled with Halloween-themed fun.

Friends Of the Library has scheduled an afternoon and evening of activities, and it will provide an introduction to all that the venue has to offer. It is located at 4 Glen Cove Avenue, and all ages may take part.

The afternoon will kick off with a performance by the Willow a Capella Women’s Choir and this will be followed by a group of teenage singers. The little ones can go trick or treating and sit in on a story telling session, and a scavenger hunt is also on the agenda. Tours of the library will be on offer and a membership drive will add even more names to its list of patrons. An author meet and greet and an opportunity to view photos from the community's past will round out the event.

An open house gives a not for profit group or business the chance to show all it has to offer. A brochure printing company can prepare informational materials to distribute as well as Promotional Products and other swag.
