Glen Cove museum plans three days of family fun

The winter school holidays may have parents frazzled, but a Glen Cove activity will give kids a chance to burn off some energy and have fun doing it.

Garvies point Museum and Preserve works throughout the year to connect locals with the nature around them, and one of its offerings will be its “Cocoa and Crafts” sessions planned for kids between the ages of 5 and 12. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay and enjoy the celebration, with three days to choose from.

The plans for the festivities include watching a nature-themed film, and there will be three shown on each day of the initiative. The participants will also make a nature-inspired craft, and complimentary hot chocolate will be served to all the guests. Taking part in the program is included in the admission price to the museum, which starts at $3 for kids and $5 for adults.

Hosting an activity like this can be a fun way for an institution to introduce itself to new patrons, and a flyer printing company will have lots of ways to help make it run smoothly. It can supply marketing materials as well as registration Forms, planning sheets, and other documents, and these are often economical choices.

Garvies Point Museum and Preserve will be welcoming the community on December 29, 30, and 31 for this family-friendly celebration. They will each begin at 11:00 am.
