The Glen Cove area will be joining communities all across the state by hosting a special event that will add some extra light and color to the holidays.
Each year, Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park serves as the venue for a Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, and 2022 will be no exception. Even Santa himself will be making a special stop to meet the kids at the venue’s Hay Barn.
Along with a chance to meet The Jolly Old Elf in person, this celebration will have plenty on offer for its guests to enjoy. They can view the tree lighting as well as the other lighted displays. Traditional decor will be in place in Coe Hall, and a poinsettia expo is scheduled for the main greenhouse. Carolers will be strolling the grounds, and anyone who would like some light refreshments can purchase a bite to eat at the park’s cafe.
Holiday events are often held outdoors, and a banner printing company will be able to prepare decor tough enough to withstand the elements. There are options that may be used over and over, making professional printers an economical choice.
This warm welcome to the arrival of the holiday season on Long Island will be held on Friday, December 9. The fun is set to begin at 6:00 pm.
