Springtime can be a season for family fun, and a Glen Cove area celebration will give kids lots of reasons to smile.
Queens County Farm Museum has hidden eggs throughout its barns and other buildings, and the public is invited to try and find as many as they can. It will be a late morning and early afternoon filled with egg hunts and other activities, and the admission price is $10.
Along with searching for the brightly colored eggs, guests at the event will find lots more to see and do. Whiskers the Bunny will be stopping by for photo ops, and there will be egg rolls and tosses as well. The petting zoo and pony rides will be open for visitors at an additional cost, and the museum’s food vendors will be on hand serving up a variety of treats. There will be plenty of free motorized vehicle and bicycle parking, and while service animals are welcome, the organizers have asked that Fido remain at home.
The organizers noted that while every attempt will be made to ensure the day is offered as scheduled, those who purchase tickets are advised to keep an eye on the weather, as it may be affected if the weather is bad. Postcards and other mailers can help to make the public aware that an event like this has been planned, and they can be obtained from an area printing services provider.
