Glen Cove golfers to tee off in local tourney
Golf is a game with a tradition that goes back many years, and the players in an upcoming fundraising tournament will be playing at a club with a past that goes back over 100 years.
The Cherry Valley Golf Club, which is located not far from Glen Cove, will be the venue for the annual A.T. Stewart Golf Classic. It will take full advantage of the mild May weather, and tickets to play through start at $160.15, including applicable fees and taxes.
The participants in this friendly competition will start their day with check in and brunch, and the golf will begin with a shotgun start. Once everyone has finished their game, they will retire to the clubhouse for a cocktail reception, networking, and awards presentation. This will be followed by dinner and music.
Along with the golf, the players will be able to try their luck in the raffle draws. The prizes include an assortment of corporate gifts as well as trips and other experiences, and there will also be skill testing competitions out on the course.
