The Girl Scout program provides girls of all ages the chance to build friendships, learn and enjoy a variety of experiences, and an upcoming activity will introduce the program for its youngest members.
The organization will be welcoming parents or guardians of girls from pre-kindergarten to grade one for an evening of learning about the Daisy level of the Girl Scout program at the Glen Cove YMCA. They will be able to find out if it is a good fit for their daughter, and while the adults sit in on the information session, there will be an activity provided for the kids.
The plans for the evening include a teddy bear picnic, and each child has been asked to bring along their favorite stuffed friend. They will be able to get a taste of what the group has to offer, and they will make a craft project, learn the Girl Scout promise, and meet some new friends too.
At an information session like this, a brochure printing company can collate packets of information to distribute, and these may include promotional Pens or other small items for attendees to take home.
This evening of discovering what the Girl Scout Daisy program is all about is set for Wednesday, May 8. It will begin at 6:00 pm at 125 Dosoris Lane.
