The Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to host the 20th Annual Culinary Delights dinner. The event features signature food, drinks, prizes, and more.
The meal was first hosted by the Chamber as a way to increase awareness of local chefs and restaurateurs in the area with an open tasting. This tradition is still going strong in Glen Cove, with dozens of local restaurants pitching in their signature dishes for the event. Guests can sample from as many different options as they want, creating a four- or five-course meal from the culinary oeuvre present at the dinner.
In addition to the food, the Flyers also promise a selection of fine wines to sample, as well as several raffles for a variety of prizes. Live music is also common at the dinner, with guitarist Matt Graboski and harpist Janet King being played. The musical lineup and prizes available at the raffles for this year’s event have not been announced yet.
The Culinary Delights dinner will be held on May 1 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Mansion, located at 200 Dosoris Lane. Tickets cost $45 in advance or $50 at the door.
