The Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce has a long history of providing services to its business community, and it has a special event coming up on its agenda.
The organization will be celebrating its 102nd year, and it will use the occasion to honor its past presidents. Anyone who is interested in being a part of the function is encouraged to reserve their tickets now, and table for 10 passes is also available.
The Metropolitan has been selected to be the venue for the function, and the guests will be able to mingle, exchange Business Cards, and enjoy a meal as well as dancing. It will open with a cocktail hour meet and greet, and desserts for the sweet tooths in the crowd will be supplied by St. Roccoa’s Bakery. Many of the Chamber’s members have donated Corporate Gifts for the raffle basket draw, and the charity of choice for the occasion will be the Dr. Glenn Howard Junior Scholarship.
Many not-for-profit groups host annual Annual General Meetings and other signature events. Programs, Copies of bylaws and financial reports, and other items for an event can be produced by local Stationery printers.
The Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce has made plans to host its anniversary gala on November 19. Its schedule runs from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm.
