The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America’s John Michael Marino Lodge 1389 has released the date for its 43rd Italian Festival. It is slated for North Hempstead Beach Park, with an extensive list of activities on the agenda.
People will be able to go for a spin on the carnival-style rides, and several food trucks will be serving up Italian fare alongside the popular pastry and pasta tents. Live entertainers will take to the stage, and several popular bands will be featured. Fireworks are set for the Saturday night, and there will also be games set up so everyone can try their luck at winning a prize.
While community members enjoy themselves, they will be supporting scholarship funds for local students, as well as grants to service groups and donations to charities. The proceeds from the $5 parking fee will help make sure funding levels remain healthy. A banner printing company can prepare reusable decor for recurring events, making for a budget-friendly choice.
The return of the annual Italian Festival will kick off on Thursday, September 5. The final date will be Sunday, September 8.
