Glen Cove area fundraiser to support local hero

A Glen Cove area hero, who has spent many years helping rescue cats in need, will now be, herself, supported in a local fundraiser.

Alexia Bonnici has made helping homeless cats her own personal project, and she has successfully rescued, fostered, and helped to rehome many felines. Now, due to a serious illness, she is now the one in need of a helping hand, and a Comedy Night Fundraiser has been planned in her support.

The function will be held at Governor's Comedy Club, and tickets are $20.00 each. The monies raised through their sale will be donated directly to Bonnici, and it was explained in the event listing that everyone will need to purchase at least two items on the venue’s menu. This can be water or any other beverages or food, and there will be vegan options available. Anyone who would like to purchase passes, or has questions for the organizers, has been requested to call 516-578-8587.

A grassroots level fundraiser can be quite successful, and the organizers of these functions often reach out to local Print shops for support. They can supply a wide selection of services and products, including Corporate Gifts to offer as raffle prizes.
