Glen Cove area event to showcase area top chefs

Many of Long Island’s top chefs will be strutting their stuff in an event that is set to take the Glen Cove area by storm, and it is all in support of members of the community who are autistic or have other developmental or intellectual challenges.

Chefs of Long Island promises to offer a tasting tour of the area, and it will include the signature dishes prepared by an group of 40 chefs. There will also be wine and beer tastings, and some lucky guests will be going home with prizes they won in the raffle that will be held during the evening.

To help make sure the event is extra special and to maximize the funds raised, the organizers have prepared several sponsorship opportunities. These start at $50, and many of the options include booking an advertising space in the journal that will be distributed. Items like these can be prepared by an area printing services provider.

Individual tickets for this fundraiser start at $100 each, and tables of 10 can be booked. Those who choose to reserve an entire table will have their generosity recognized on the signage at the photo booth at will be set up for the occasion.

This opportunity for the public to do a good turn for others while enjoying some of the best cuisine the area has to offer has been planned for March 11. It will be taking place at 1899 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
