Date set for Glen Cove farmers market
Glen Cove has lots of fun in store for the summer months, and one of its initiatives will show some love to its farmers, makers and small businesses.
The city’s Deep Roots Farmers’ Market has set its schedule for 2025, and it has a grand opening day set for the end of May. Its chamber of commerce announced that it will be on offer at Garvies Point, and the function will honor its late founder Amy Peters.
The market will be kicking off its upcoming 23-week season with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Taking place rain or shine, each session will include activities for the kids, and live music will have everyone tapping their toes.
