Nassau County will be the location of two craft shows next month that will be offering handmade and unique items that are suitable for gift giving.
The first event taking place is the 16th annual Syosset Street Fair, presented by the Syosset Woodbury Chamber of Commerce. It will take over Jackson Avenue. There are expected to be arts and crafts and food vendors.
Vendor spaces are still available; fees for arts and crafts vendors are $100 until September 14 and $110 after and $200 for food. There will be a discount for Chamber members. Contact Alan Finchley at 516-442-6000 for more information.
A few days later, the PJD Fine Art / Fine Craft Show will be held in Glen Cove. Organizers are looking for artisans to sell their handmade items. There will also be space for food vendors and local trucks. To find out more about becoming a vendor at this event, contact Paola Giordano at 613-559-7103; the deadline is August 25.
Vendors in the Glen Cove area may choose to invest in signage from their favorite printing companies to draw attention to their booths.
The Syosset Street Fair will be held on September 20 in downtown Syosset.
The PJD Fine Art / Fine Craft Show will take place at the Glen Cove Christian Church on September 26 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
