Glen Cove Kids who want to give something special to the important people in their life are welcome to take a seat during a make and take workshop hosted by the Glen Cove Public Library.
The students in the crafting class will discover how easy it can be to craft pompoms using a few simple materials. Instruction will be provided, and at the end of the class, the participants will all have a set of these decor items they can use to add some extra flair to the gifts they give this holiday season.
While the pompoms may be the stars of the show, they won’t be the only crafts made during the workshop. The kids will also be making other Winter Wonderland items, and when it is time to go home, the goal is for each child to be wearing a big, happy smile.
This sort of function can be a fun idea for a winter evening, and it is intended for children who are in grades two to five. Posting Flyers in the community can be a way to spread the word that both easy and inexpensive, and these can be readily sourced from a flyer printing company.
The library has scheduled this activity for the evening of December 10. The fun is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.
