The Brooklyn Bounty: Kings County Agricultural Fair is taking place next week, and is to be hosted by the Brooklyn Historical Society in order to raise its own funds.
A large part of the event will be the 4th Brooklyn Food and Heritage Awards, which will feature samples from over 25 local restaurants and pay tribute to several residents of the area who are in the food and cooking industry.
The event will feature unlimited cocktails, food tastings, a penny social auction and live music from The Roosevelt Dime. There will also be lots of prizes handed out during the evening.
It will be a chance for area restaurants to show the greater public exactly what they have to offer and will likely attract more visitors in the future. It will also give them the opportunity to meet their peers. There will be a VIP cocktail part for those who pay $500 and up for admission.
Restaurants who plan to take part in this annual Brooklyn event will no doubt want their current customers to know they will be there. This may involve investing in flyer printing services to help spread the word.
The Brooklyn Bounty is being held at DUMBO Brooklyn on October 22 from 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm. Tickets start at $200 each. To find out more about the event or about the Historic Society, call 718-222-4111 x202.
