An organization that helps Murray Hill boys develop positive character traits and have fun doing it has set the date for its first meeting of the 2026 school year.
Cub Scout Pack 715 is geared towards boys from grade kindergarten to five, and the meetings will take place on Friday evenings. They will be held in the gym at DGK Parochial School in Brooklyn.
Run by Scouting America, the program works to build character, personal fitness, and citizenship through hands-on activities. The members take part in nature-based sessions such as hiking and camping, and the value of community service will also be emphasized. When they register their child, parents will be asked to indicate their grade level, and this will determine which group they are placed in. These start at the “lion” level for kindergarteners and go up to "Arrow of Light” for those in the 5th grade.
For any club events, Stationery printers will be able to provide a range of printing options at various price points, which may be helpful for a not-for-profit organization working with a tight budget.
