Murray Hill makers host holiday market

Murray Hill makers will be showcasing their skills and talents in an event that will celebrate the city’s creative side.

A brand new venue has been selected for the November installment of “Markets for Makers,” and at least 90 sellers will be on hand for the weekend. The gathering has been planned with families in mind, and admission for kids aged 12 and under will be on the house.

Attendees can enjoy some retail therapy while they browse and meet the makers in person. It will make it a snap to support local small businesses, and free shopping tote Bags will be provided for as long as supplies last. Light refreshments will be available, and the DIY stations will help everyone to dive into crafts. A photo backdrop wall is in the works as well.

Pop-up markets and other shopping parties are often a boon for a community's small business side. Vendors will be able to access a full line of printing services, including Logo Design and branding, from area Print professionals.

Markets for Makers will be setting up shop at its new digs next weekend, November 22 and 23. It will be on offer at 33, 35th Street in Brooklyn, and both days will be running from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Both general admission and VIP pass options have been prepared.
