An event has been planned for Murray Hill that will bring together friends family and neighbors in an environment that is both fun and engaging.
The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association Street Festival will give locals a chance to meet and mingle while celebrating the historic community, the buildings it contains, and the people who live there.
Guided walks will take participants along the streets, during which historic past of the buildings and the area itself will be highlighted. For those who would like to have a piece of this to display in their own home, prints and Postcards will be available for purchase. These can be produced by a company that performs postcard printing services.
Along with this, there will be a book table, a silent auction, freshly baked goods, a flea market, food vendors, and a raffle. Members of The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association will be on hand to provide more information about their organization and what it does, as well as to discuss ways the community can move forward into the future. Those who are interested in becoming members of the association will be able to join.
The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association Street Festival has been planned for June 4 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at Park Avenue (West Side) between 34th and 40th Street. Anyone who would like to volunteer, set up a table, sponsor the festival, or just find out more about it is invited to visit the event’s website.
