Brooklyn Botanic Garden provides the city with various ways of connecting with nature, and one of its upcoming activities will put pollinators and the role they play in the spotlight.
The venue has scheduled its annual Making Brooklyn Bloom conference for the Murray Hill area, and this year, the theme will be “What's the Buzz?”. The conference is being described by organizers as a day filled with learning and fun, with it being on offer in the area annually for more than 40 years.
The day will offer the public an opportunity to sit in on an address by the keynote speaker, and there will be other learning opportunities such as workshops and breakout sessions. Attendees can meet and mingle with the other registrants, and the Botanic Garden’s Palm House will be filled with displays set up by area screening groups. Anyone who requires the services of an ASL interpreter for the conference has been asked to contact community@bbg.org by no later than February 23rd.
