The Murray Hill area is well known for its spectacular annual fireworks display that is held each New Year’s Eve, and Prospect Park will once again be carrying on this tradition.
This free event is expected to draw a crowd of tens of thousands of spectators who will be coming out for the celebration, and it will be suitable for all ages. This will be the 39th year that the park’s Grand Army Plaza has staged the display, and it will offer an experience of sound, light, and color.
The fun will be kicking off at 10:30 pm, and there will be live entertainment to help count down the minutes until midnight. Once the clock strikes twelve, the fireworks will start and the spectators can join together to sing ‘Auld Lang Syne’ and greet 2019 along with their friends and neighbors.
