Murray Hill library to offer media workshop

Those who work in media production, or who simply have an interest in the field, will be able to sharpen their interview skills by registering for a Murray Hill area class.

The Second Floor Computer Lab of the Central Library branch will be the venue for its Interviewing for TV and Film seminar, which will run for two hours. The registration fee is $5, and there are no prerequisites required.

The class will offer an introduction to the art of interviewing. Learners will discuss how to get prepared in advance and also ways to create engaging questions. The students will learn how to avoid common pitfalls and also how to guide the interview and keep it on track. A review of audio elements, as well as tips for scouting locations and camera techniques, will wrap up the event.

Learning new skills at workshops can be both profitable and fun. Organizers of these activities will be able to order Copies of handouts and other materials from a brochure printing company.

This opportunity to get the inside edge when it comes to interviewing for TV and film will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 6. As of the time of writing, there are still spaces available in the session, and registrations can be completed through the library system's website.
