The Brooklyn Public Library serves as a community hub, and one of its upcoming activities will give local families lots of ways to celebrate the arrival of the summer season.
The team at Marcy Library, which is located at 617 DeKalb Avenue, will be rolling out the red carpet for a seasonal gathering, and families from Murray Hill are invited to attend. It will be an afternoon activity, and it will run for three hours.
The day will open with the families in attendance gathering together for a special story time, and after this, a special guest performer is set to wow the crowd. This will be followed by some arts and crafts for all ages, and while all this is going on, the participants can stop by the health and wellness fair and browse through the vendor displays.
When they visit the health and wellness fair, the participants will be able to learn more about the services available to them. Company and organization representatives will be able to answer questions and share information. Promotional Pens and other swag are sometimes distributed to the crowd at events like this one.
Family Fun Day: Storytime, Arts & Crafts, Health and Wellness Fair will be getting started with a story reading at 11:00 am. This will be followed by the guest performer and crafting time. The health and wellness fair will be open throughout the event, and will close up shop at 3:00 pm.
