In Murray Hill, March marks the start of the spring migration north, and an excursion to a local site will give birders an opportunity to observe their feathered friends.
Peter Dorosh will be the leader for an outing that will visit various sites along the coastline that borders Brooklyn. The meeting place will be released to the registrants closer to the scheduled date, and while this is an annual event, each year is a little bit different to the last.
The participants can expect to spot a variety of seabirds and other species, with each site likely to have different birds. The outing will follow rules for ethical birding and, with a little luck, the attendees may even be able to spot a “lifer” to add to their list.
