Murray Hill residents on the hunt for unique holiday gifts and stocking stuffers may want to include a special pop-up market in their holiday shopping plans.
Located at 45 Irving Avenue, Nook has scheduled a holiday shopping party that will put the talents of local crafters and makers front and center. Shoppers can stop by at any time on its scheduled dates, but those who arrive early will get the best selection.
The organizers of the sales explained that there may still be enough space for more sellers to join the fun. The registration fee is $25 each per day, and each participating small business will need to provide their own table and chairs or use the ones available for a small fee. As they will be set up outside, umbrellas are recommended, and the table space allocations will be made on a first come, first served basis. The organizers suggest sellers offer a digital form of payment along with cash if possible.
Crafters and other small businesses often make good use of pop-up markets and other sales activities. If they have a stack of Business Cards and other marketing materials at the ready, they will be prepared to take advantage of opportunities as they arise.
Nook has organized its Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair for December 14 and 15. It will begin at 10:00 am on both days.
