Murray Hill area class to teach basics of watercolor painting

There's something special about receiving a card made by hand, and a Murray Hill area workshop will teach those who are new to painting with watercolors a chance to create their own masterpieces to give to friends and family.

Private Picassos will be welcoming those who would like to learn the basics, and even those who have never picked up a brush before can participate. Everyone will go home with five cards and Envelopes they decorated, and the cost is $60 each.

The participants will be invited to take in a demo of both wet and dry brushing techniques, and everyone will have a chance to get in lots of practice so they can perfect their skills. As it will take place in the evening, anyone who is interested can participate at the end of their working day, and it will run for one and a half hours. The attendees are welcome to bring their own alcohol if they wish.

Gifts and cards made by hand can be especially meaningful to those who receive them. A flyer printing company can help to keep the public informed about when and where such special events are taking place in their community.

This gentle introduction to the art of working with watercolors has been planned for the evening of November 17. It is a class for adults only.
