This autumn, the East Coast will be treated to a taste of West Coast sunshine, in an event planned with Murray Hill foodies in mind.
The annual Brooklyn Crush Wine and Artisanal Food Festival is right around the corner, and it will offer a huge selection of curated pours and bites. While wine may be the star of the show, lovers of beer, cider, and other beverages will all be able to whet their whistles, and options from all over the world will be on offer.
Admission to the celebration includes a variety of perks, and one of these will be an opportunity to purchase wines crafted in New York state by the bottle or case. The culinary area will feature fare from local chefs as well those from further afield, and area restaurants will also be represented. As alcohol will be served, the function is limited to those who are 21 years of age and up, and everyone is reminded to leave time in their schedule to check in.
Each person who purchased a ticket for the gathering will receive a crystal tasting glass to use, and they will be able to keep it as a memento of the afternoon. It will boast a special graphic design, making it unique to the occasion.
This year's Brooklyn Crush festival will be giving local foodies cause to celebrate on November 7. The venue for the fun is at 220 36th Street.
